Supporting the Annual Meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge 2026

A special day recognising the dedication of Brethren across the Province. Including members of Pilgrim Lodge.

The Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire, West Riding.

Several of our Brethren were pleased to attend the Annual Meeting of The Provincial Grand Lodge of Yorkshire, West Riding. Which took place in Harrogate on Tuesday 5th May 2026.

The gathering brought together Brethren from Lodges across Yorkshire, West Riding, to share fellowship, celebrate Provincial achievements, and support those receiving Provincial appointments and Promotions. For Pilgrim Lodge, it was a memorable day, with two of our Brethren receiving honours.
The main preferment for Pilgrim Lodge was a promotion for WBro. Ross, now PPJGW (Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden).
Members also had the chance to reconnect with friends from other lodges, witness appointments being conferred, and celebrate the commitment of Brethren who have contributed significantly to Freemasonry.

The speech made by the RW. Provincial Grand Master highlighted the Province’s work over the past year, supporting lodges, encouraging Masonic education, and promoting charitable activity (especially the Masonic Charitable Foundation Festival currently taking place within the Province). The atmosphere was formal yet warm and friendly.

WBro. Ross, Pilgrim Lodge’s Director of Ceremonies is made a Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden

Pilgrim Lodge was especially proud to see our Director of Ceremonies, WBro. Ross, received the office of Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden (PPJGW). This is a significant Provincial honour and recognises exceptional service and dedication over many years.
Brethren often receive ranks such as PPJGW to acknowledge their contribution both within and beyond their own Lodge, whether through ceremonial excellence, leadership, charity, or supporting the wider Masonic community.
WBro. Ross has consistently demonstrated commitment, and this was a thoroughly deserved recognition. A source of pride for all members of our Lodge.
